Ober Community Center
Ober Community Center provides recreational activities, mentorship, personal development classes, educational services, and Christian discipleship to youth ages 12-17 of St. Paul, in order to increase productive activity, develop Christian character, and encourage the completion of educational and vocational goals.
Union Gospel Mission
Union Gospel Mission is a Christian service agency that works to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs of the economically disadvantaged men, women, and children of the Twin Cities. In that ministry, the Union Gospel Mission seeks to fulfill its role as servant to Jesus Christ.
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, ultimately authoritive word of God.
2. We believe there is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We belive that the Lord Jesus Christ is deity, that He was born of a virgin, that we are redeemed by His atoning death through His shed blood, that He bodily resurrected and ascended into Heaven, and that He will come again in power and great glory.
4. We believe that individuals are saved through a direct encouter with the risen Lord, at which time the Holy Spirit regenerates them.
5. We believe in the ptresent ministry of the Holy Spirit by whom Christ dwells each believer enabling them to live a godly life of obedience as he reaches for maturity.
6. We believe the Holy Spirit unites all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that together they form one body, the church.
