At Open Arms International:
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God - 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe the gospel (the ‘good news’) is "the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…" - Romans 1:16
We believe the Bible has supreme and absolute authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe in God the Father, who created the earth and is perfect in holiness and awesome in power.
We believe in Jesus Christ as the risen son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and though tempted in every way, perfect and sinless. - Matthew 1:20–21; Hebrews 4:15
We believe that Christ died on the cross according to Father God's perfect plan and will, paying for the sins of the world.
- Isaiah 53:10; Acts 2:23
We believe in His bodily resurrection and that after appearing to the disciples here on earth, He ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for His people. - Mark 16:19
We trust and depend on Christ and believe that we may have an intimate, personal relationship with Him and thus with God the Father.
We believe that our faith in Christ sets us free from the law of sin, allowing us to live by righteousness that comes from God and is no longer based on our performance.
We believe, and wait in great expectation, for Christ's return according to His promise in the scriptures.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent to convict the world of sin, which is part of the trinity and Himself God.
We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit, we the Church are able to hear the voice of God and are commissioned to preach the gospel and heal the sick.
We believe that as heirs of Christ and sons and daughters of God, the Spirit has been placed in us, the Church, and now resides in each of us as our Counselor, guiding and teaching us in all truth.
We believe that by nature, all men are sinners; but God pardons us through the redemption that came from Christ.
We believe that those who repent of their sins and put their faith and trust in Christ as Lord and Savior will have eternal life.
We believe that those who refuse to accept salvation from Christ will be eternally separated from God.
Our beliefs are why we make it our passion to see the lost come to Christ.
