Orange County Youth Commission

Organization Description:

The Orange County Youth Commission was launched in 1997 by Rosemarie Avila and a group of concerned community members who recognized the needs of children in high-poverty areas of Orange County and wanted to make a difference in their lives. A volunteer Board of Directors was formed and they wrote our present mission statement. The organization was incorporated as a public benefit 501c3 non-profit organization in 2001.
