Parenting With Purpose
Organization Description:
Parenting With Purpose provides biblically based parenting classes and support to incarcerated parents, while providing mentoring and support to their children in the Twin Cities area. In addition, PWP provides monthly Bible Study to all the children involved and offers opportunities for potential mentors to come and spend time with the children and youth. Family support is provided through compassion nights at local churches in partnership with Prison Fellowship.
PWP also provides a "parenting coach" or Brother's Keeper to the men at the prison in Faribault upon completion of their 12 parenting sessions.
