The Park People is a member driven and funded organization that mobilizes tens of thousands of residents represented by more than 150 Friends Groups to actively advocate for Milwaukee County Parks in order to ensure:

* Safe and positive experiences, including recreation and relaxation in a beautiful and inviting environment.
* Adequate maintenance and essential infrastructure such as pavilions, parking and playgrounds.
* Attention to expanding and maintaining natural areas and improved habitat for wildlife.
* An engaged community with special emphasis on youth in the programming and stewardship of the parks
