Partners Mentoring Youth

Organization Description:

Mentoring is a well-documented prevention strategy for positive youth development. Our evaluation results show that for just three hours a week for one year in our mentoring program, our youth have a(n):

Greater sense of hope Increased self-esteem Increased academic achievement Less delinquent behavior and substance use Currently, there are over 25 extraordinary kids waiting for a mentor. The need is there. So much so, we?ve had to defer kids from joining our wait list. All we need are a few positive role models to step up and help change a kid?s life and the community around them.
