Pathfinder Mission
The ministry provided through Pathfinder Mission is in the form of both practical assistance to the local residents, helping them to recover and re-establish their homes from the devastation of hurricanes Katirna, Gustav and Ike (Matthew 25) and spiritual activities focusing on outreach to evangelize the lost and connect unchurched believers (Matthew 28).
The mission?‚?s ministry focus is intentionally multi-cultural and inter-denominational reaching across the two people groups ?‚? unchurched residents and volunteers.
In support of the five purposes of the church, the emphasis of the mission will be:
Reconstruction
Facilitate the rebuilding of the community (Ministry)
Empowering the residents to help themselves
Bringing volunteers and resources from other churches
Spiritual Restoration
Provide a place to meet and to build relationships (Fellowship)
Promote spiritual restoration/encouragement
Evangelistic Outreach/Share the Gospel (Evangelism)
Gathering events ?‚? Praise and Worship (Worship)
Teaching obedience / Discipleship / Bible Studies (Discipleship)
Pathfinder will be Christ centered and intentionally multi-racial and inter-denominational in its staffing, partnerships, volunteer constituency and ministry in the community. The mission will be a place known for the promotion of spiritual and emotional healing for the people on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and its willingness to help residents overcome the losses incurred by Katrina.

In the divine inspiration of all 66 books of the Old and New Testaments as originally given, guaranteeing their total trustworthiness and absolute authority for faith and life;
In one God, eternally existing in three Persons ƒ‚ ¢€"Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
In the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and imminent return in power and glory;
That all people are sinners by nature, that they cannot save themselves, and that salvation is possible only through the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit;
That salvation is a free gift of God entirely apart from works and is possessed by all those who have, by faith, received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior;
In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to overcome the attacks of Satan;
In the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost; and
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, who are thus members of His Body, the Church.
