Are you an individual, family or group planning on a volunteer travel, holiday or adventure abroad in Africa, then Pearl Ethical Volunteerism and Child Care Uganda is the answer.

We recruit and place foreign volunteers with community based projects and schools around Uganda. Through our volunteer placement program, we aim to build the capacities of local projects and raise awareness around the world about the successes and challenges of life in Uganda.

Volunteers are always needed in a wide range of worthy projects including; Education (teaching) Programs, Community (Building) Program, Youth work & Mentoring, Health Care Programs, Child Care Programs, Nature & Conservation Programs, Vocational Skills Programs and Health Education Program. When you volunteer in Uganda, your skills will be needed in various aspects ranging from working in the field to administration. You will be required to help women and children, poverty, and abuse who need social reintegration, formal and informal education as well as professional training. You will also be needed to help develop social awareness among women/Youth in the rural areas, to include basic health-care and helping children.

No need of previous experience , as with all our volunteer programs, we provide the tools and training needed to support your placement. When a volunteer arrives in Uganda,our Coordinator meets them at the airport and brings them to our orientation place . From that point our volunteers spend between 2 to 3 days in our orientation program. This training provides volunteers with a very detailed understanding of how to acquainted in Uganda's Life and culture.
