Pittsburgh Habitat for Humanity

Organization Description:

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh was founded in 1986 and since then we have worked to eliminate poverty housing in Allegheny County. To date 66 low income families have moved out of substandard living conditions and into their new homes. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh works in partnership with volunteers and low-income families in need, to build homes, which are then purchased by these families through no-profit, no-interest mortgages.
