The Plus Size Women Inc.
The Plus Size Women Inc is a nonprofit organization designed to make the public aware of "fat discrimination" that is readily directed at the plus size women. This discrimination is rapid among the following areas of society such as advertising, apparel, media, employment, friends, and family relationships. We want to educate the public that many of the issues of obesity range from health, emotional distress and family relationships. We believe that plus size women are often discriminated just by their physical appearance and are treated inferior because of their size and weight.
Mission statement: No plus size woman should have to deal with negative, cruel comments about her body, of which results in fat prejudice and fat discrimination, but nothing will get better until we start acknowledging that these things happen on a day to day basis and work to change the way society thinks about plus size women.
We believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the Son of God and died for our sins.
We also believe in His grace that He loves us all no matter what size or shape. We believe that He sees the Plus Size Women as being "intricately and wonderfully made".
