Statement of Faith

The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's infallible written Word, which we believe was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. As such it is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks. We accept the following doctrinal teachings on which, historically, there has been general agreement among all Bible believing Christians:
1. There is one true Godhead, eternally existing in three separate persons the Father, The Beloved Son, Yeshua Messiah and Holy Spirit, the Motherhood of the Godhead each of whom possesses equally all the attributes and characteristics of Deity.
2. The family of man, created in the image and likeness of the Divine Family, consists of a man, a woman and if God blesses their union - one or more children.
3. Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) is God, the Logos (Living Essence of the Deity), who became flesh through His miraculous conception between the Holy Spirit and Mary - hence his virgin birth. He is thus complete and perfect Deity and true humanity united in one person forever.
4. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily atoned for the sins of men through his substitutional death on the cross, satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for all mankind who will put their trusting-faith in Him alone.
5. He rose from the dead ascended bodily into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father, where He, as the only mediator (Intercessor) between God and man, continually makes intercession for His own.
6. Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God. However, he sinned by disobeying God; thus, alienating himself from his Creator.
7. That historic fall resulted in man's nature and all created things on earth being corrupted, and thus totally abhorrent to God.
8. Every man is in need of regeneration and renewal through the mercy of the Father, the Atonement by The Son, and the Indwelling Guidance of the Holy Spirit.
9. The salvation of man is wholly a work of God's free mercy and grace - not the work, in whole or in part, of any human work, goodness or religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their trusting-faith in His Beloved Son, Christ Jesus.
10. It is the privilege of all who are born-anew of the Spirit to be assured of their salvation from the very moment they place their trusting-faith Christ as their Savior. This assurance is not based upon any human merit, but is produced by the witness of Holy Spirit, who confirms in the believer his/her adoption into the Family of God, according to the testimony of God in His written word.
11. Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to men. Holy Spirit convicts people, drawing sinners to Christ, then imparts new life to them, continually indwells them from the moment of spiritual birth, guiding them in their spiritual walk and sealing them until the day of redemption. Holy Spirit's fullness, power and control are appropriated in the believer's life by his/her trusting-faith.
12. Every believer is called to live according to the guidance of the indwelling Spirit so that he/she will not fulfill the lust of the flesh but bear fruit to the glory of God.
13. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all men: the dead, the living and those yet unborn, who are joined to Him through saving faith.
14. God admonishes His people to assemble together regularly for praise and worship, to participate in the ordinances of the church, to receive edification through the Scriptures and for mutual encouragement.
15. At physical death the believer immediately enters eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord but awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting glory and blessing. But, the unbeliever, at the moment of physical death enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting judgment and condemnation.
16. Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) who was incarnate, who died for man and rose again, after which he ascended to the Father; will come again to earth personally, visibly and bodily to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
17. The Lord Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple men of every nation. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us."
