The organization's description is a religious charitable non profit organization located in the city of Houston urban inner city community. Praise Deliverance Church is in Phase I Building Construction of a Family Life Center Project. The family life center will provide hope, help and services to adult and children.
This grassroot organization offers reading programs, Family Support Services, Ministry, Outreach, After School Programs, Computer Classes, Job Training Skills, Grammar/English, Sports for Boyds and Girls, Art, Drama and Etiquette.
To Build People and Families of Purpose, Power, Praise, Principles, Prosperity and Profession in Every Nation: Mind, Body and Soul.
Praise Deliverance Church Statement of Faith
This church acknowledges as its sole Head, Jesus Christ, as the Son of God and Savior. It acknowledges as the body of Christ all who share in this confession. It looks to the Word of God in the Scriptures, and to presence and power of the Holy Spirit, to prosper its creative and redemptive work in the world. It affirms the responsibility of the Church in each generation to make this faith its own in reality of worship, in honesty of thought and expression, and in purity of heart before God.
We, believe in the Deity of God (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost) who was from the beginning of time was and is. Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-14. Revelation 19:13. We believe that it is God?s desire for all to be saved. However, all mankind will not heed the call of salvation. Salvation is necessary to inherit Eternal Life in the Kingdom of God. John 3:1-21; I Corinthians 2:14-16; 3:16-23.
Salvation is a choice and not a demand. Joshua 24:15.
Each person must choose whom they will serve, God or satan. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. Jesus came to this sinful world born of a virgin, Mary. He did nothing but good; teaching, healing, ministering, prospering, working miracles such as opening the blinded eyes, healing the lame, lepers, feeding 5,000, saving and raising the dead. Matthews 4:23; 10:8; Mark 1:34; John 11:14-43; Matthews 7:29; Mark 1:22.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world was crucified on the cross. Luke 24:7; 24:46. He was crucified and on the third day rose again. We believe in the Resurrection for we know that we shall behold Him face to face and shall be like Him. Ephesians 4:2-10; I John 3:2-3; 4:10; Revelation 1:7; 20:4-6; Romans 1:16-17; 2:8-10; Acts 4:10-12. I Corinthians 15:11-58; II Corinthians 1:5-11; II Timothy 2:8-13; Hebrews 6:1-3.
