Prince Kimbuwe Foundation

Organization Description: 

Prince Kimbugwe Foundation was formed in 2000 and later in 2003 it was registered as indigenous Community Based Organization with Ministry of Gender, Youth, Elderly and community Development, on 22nd December 2003 with Reg. No. 322.
The founder of the Foundation Prince Kimbugwe Edward is an Engineer who holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering, who later trained in Germany in Advanced Professional Building in Mannheim where he obtained a Diploma in the methodology, Dedactics, psychology, training in the vocational schools and environment protecting, funded by DSE Deutche Stiftung for international Entwickling Mannheim. In line with the environment protection the founder of this Foundation trained in Teaching Exercises, Production of Teaching Models approach of Environment management and individual Teaching aids and he is good in Germany language.
In order to pass over that all acquired knowledge from Germany, Eng. Kimbugwe got a vision to implement projects in line with environment protection, needy, vulnerable communities, Elderly, Disabilities, girl child, orphans and Youth.
Donations of scholarship/ Bursanary, capacity building and Agriculture of which this project of organic farming have benefited over 30,000 people. You can view all our projects and its practical work on our website: www.pkfoundation.webs.com
Its through that background that Prince Kimbugwe Foundation was formed by a group of women, youth with assistance from Uganda Government.
This Foundation has become an infrastructure after construction of two primary two Primary schools and two secondary schools in Luwero District, Wakiso and Mpigi District and it has 40 schools which are affiliated with this Foundation with a total of 35,000 (Thirty five thousand ) beneficiaries/ students and pupils, whom we are going to use in our phase II tree planting project as a co-circular in Environment protection in SEEP (Secondary Environment Education Program) and EE (Environment Education) in primary schools.
