Project Christ India
Established in the year 1986, PCI is ministering among the remote villages, mostly tribals, to lead them to salvation through Jesus Christ. PCI workers reach out these people who are mostly poor daily wage workers, illeterates and idol-worshippers who need to know the living God. In addition to this, we also cater to their physical needs in a small way by running after-school coaching classes for poor children, sewing centre of village women to supplement their family income and free medical camps. We presently run a primary medical care centre in a remote village with qualified doctor couple and a nurse. The centre has six beds catering to the needs of the 20 surrounding villages who do not have a medical facility. The patients come here with various infectious diseases, gastroenteritis, burns, snake and scorpion bites, skin infections and maternity needs.
Another medical clinic is situated in the hilly region of remote tribal village for the tribals who do not have such facility.
