Organization Description: 

The organization runs three programs:

1) Educational Program: Provides tuition for boys and girls who are either orphans or whose parents cannot afford tuition. People to People (PTPL) pays tuition for children at 38 schools in the region

2) Vocational Training: Students are refugees in a Camp in Kigoma region in Tanzania. Some vocational skills taught are carpentry, baking, sewing, knitting, batik, and soap making.

3) Microcredit: provides loans to women to start or expand a small business. When women gain control over spending, more family money is spent on education and food. repaid loans provide funds for new loans.
