Application Procedures: 

Qualified applicants must request a new application package every time they wish to submit an application for funding consideration.

Some organizations may be eligible to download an application from the Foundation's wesite; please visit the Foundation's website for more information.

Funding Limitations Description: 

Applications received between December 8 and February 8 will be considered in May.

Applications received between June 8 and August 8 will be considered in November.

If February 8 and August 8 falls on a weekend or a holiday, the deadline is by 5 pm on the previous business day.

The Foundation will not accept applications for the following reasons:

  • to reduce debt
  • for tuition, scholarships, or Fellowships purposes
  • for Endowment Funds
  • for the purpose of Individual Scholarly Research
  • to continue, or aid in continuing subsidies
  • for Advocacy, lobbying, or legislation purposes
  • for projects that are completed "after the fact," or by the date of the trustee's meetings
  • to fund grants made by other grant makers

The Foundation generally does not provide funding for large construction projects;  please see the Foundation's website for more information.

All applicants must submit their applications and proposals in English.

The Foundation will not provide grants for the same project, nor to the same organization on a continuing basis.

If the Foundation does not grant funding for an organization's program/project/need, the Board will not accept , nor review the same applications during the next (successive) meeting.
