Organization Description: 

Reaching Our Communities serves the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Our 5 core programs include "Sidewalk Celebration", Youth Leadership Development, TRAILS (Teaching Relevant Applicable Independent Life Skills), Capture the Dream Summer Camps and Jump Start Your Heart Nutriton Program. As a non profit organization we seek innovative ways to impact the at risk young people in our community. We have existed as a non for profit since 1996.

To empower underprivileged young people through programs adn services in such a way that they are motivated to break molds of poverty and to rise to be leaders in their families, neighborhoods, communities and world.

Organizational Statement of Faith: 

We believe:
There is only one God in three persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That the Bible is the inspired and final authority on Christian doctrine.
Man was created in the image and likeness of God but because of sin man is powerless to save himself.
That Jesus Christ is the son of God and was born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus died to take upon Himself the sin of the world and that through our belief in Him our sins will be forgiven and we will be given life eternal. John 3:16
