The Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF) is a 501 c (3) non profit ministry located in Glenside, PA. CCEF was founded in 1968 and has spent over four decades developing a thoughtful and biblically rich approach to life and how to help people who struggle. CCEF trains pastors, counselors, and lay-people with a comprehensive certification program. CCEF produces resources for the church including our Journal of Biblical Counseling. At CCEF we also serve individuals, couples, families, and children through our counseling ministry.
To restore Christ to counseling and counseling to the church.
We are Protestant. We affirm the unique authority of Scripture and subscribe to the historic creeds of the early church and Reformation (i.e., Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, Westminster Confession of Faith, London Baptist Confession, Heidelberg Catechsim). Though we are grounded in the reformed tradition we are also ecumenical and seek to minister to and with Christians from a range of theological perspectives.
