Refuge Home Foundation
Our purpose is to equip new mothers for usccessful independent living. Everything planned and completed from a Christ-centered perspective.
We aspire to three goals to fulfill our purpose:
1. To encourge, establish and deepen a relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ.
2. To develop a healthy bond between mother and child.
3. To develop a successful and self-sufficient lifestyle.
Services provided:
Residential Care, Parenting and Life Skills education, Individual and Group counseling, Educational Opportunities, Spiritual Growth and Child Care
Who is the Refuge Home for? The Refuge Home is for six young unwed mothers with a child up to the age of 2.
The Refuge Home is a Christian Group Home for young unwed mothers and their children. It is designed to provide a safe environment to nurture the development of a healthy bond between mother and child while fostering increased self-sufficiency of the mother.
We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testments are inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe in one God, the Creator, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We belive that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; and that He was and remains true God and true man.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died for our sins according to the Bible, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
We believe that all who be in faith recieve the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Hoy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
We believe in the eternal reward (Heaven) for the believer.
We believe in the eternal damnation (Hell) for the lost.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate.
We believe that divine healing is part of redemption's purchase and is God's will for all who believe.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells and gives spiritual life to all believers, enables them to understand biblical truth, empowers them for godly living and equips them for service and witness.
