The Refuge of Hope
The Refuge of Hope is a domestic violence advocacy ministry in New Castle, Indiana. We are in the infant stage at this time but we are developing rapidly. The Refuge of Hope assists victims of emotional, verbal, financial, sexual, and physical abuse.
We assist in helping the victim break the cycle of abuse to become an empowered survivor by providing information, having support groups, and in the future a crisis line that is answered 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We can also give referrals to other agencies as needed, and go to court with the client as needed as a means of a support system.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve our community by helping the victims of abuse become empowered survivors by providing adequate information on the topics of Domestic Violence, Intimate Partner Violence, Teen Dating Violence, Stalking, and Sexual Assault. Advocacy services including referrals to other assisting agencies as needed, providing a support group system, helping the client find safety and security by guiding the client through the protective order process as well as placing them in shelter if needed.
The Refuge of Hope staff feels that we have been called by God to help fight the growing battle of Domestic Violence that has invaded the lives of people in our community and in our world. Our goal is to see the cycle of abuse broken for future generations.
The Refuge of Hope will strive to become exactly what our name states: a REFUGE giving the client a chance to find peace, safety and security. We hope to also help the client find and replace HOPE in their life.
