We have a dream that Reset Berlin will be a united community?
? that is a safe and welcoming place for everyone, where the love and presence of Jesus Christ is experienced. ? where true inward change and healing are a reality. ? where people wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ and become more like Him in every aspect of their lives. ? where people find a spiritual family and a spiritual home where they are truly connected, actively participating and continually growing. ? where people are empowered to discover and fulfill their God given gifts and talents. ? where people willingly serve one another, along with the needy and lonely of this world. ? that expands the Kingdom of God by giving birth to many new followers of Jesus and new churches in Berlin, in Germany and throughout the World.
WE BELIEVE THAT ...
...God loves mankind more than is humanly understandable and that God's love should be the most important factor in determining the decisions and actions of Christians.
...God is ONE eternal Being in three persons (Triune): Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
...Jesus Christ was fully man and fully God, that He is the Son of God, who died for the people and rose again, so that they may be redeemed from sin and experience new life.
... the Holy Spirit lives in people who make Jesus their Lord. The Holy Spirit empowers followers of Jesus to live for God and to fulfill the dream and the purpose God has their lives.
...the Holy Scriptures are inspired by God and the only source of Christian doctrine.
...Man was created in the image of God. As a result of sin mankind lost their relationship with God and does not have the power to restore that relationship through their own efforts.
...the hope for mankind is to actively believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, died to take away sin and was resurrected from the dead so that relationship between man and God can be restored when they make Him Lord of their lives.
...the Church is the Body of Christ and consists of all the people who have experienced spiritual renewal by the Holy Spirit through their faith in Jesus Christ. We believe a responsible relationship to the body of Christ is necessary for a healthy spiritual life.
... the Mission of the Church is to bring God's love to people in this world through actions and not simply words, to help people grow in their relationship with God and their understanding of Him and to achieve all that God has designed for them.
