Organization Description: 

Change African Child International (CACI) is a registered indigenous/local Non- Governmental organization, Registration 9484, Certification number S. 5914/9962. It seeks to respond to the causes and impact of HIV/AIDS and poverty. CACI is community-based with its headquarters in Ndejje-Namasuba offe Entebbe road, Wakiso District. In light of the growing incidence of HIV/AIDS and its adverse socio-economic impact of AIDS was fore seen and Change African Child International (CACI) was initiated. CACI mainly work on care and support to people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS in order to mitigate the effects of the epidemic. Also, we aim at strengthening the coping of OVC?S and the people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), families to progressively become self reliant for economical sustainability of their families as well as supporting the youth, women and the elderly in economic strengthening, leadership skills, building the internal CACI staffs for effective and sustainable program design and implementation and finally supporting communities in adult Literacy.
