Organization Description:
Rise Up!, a faith-based non-profit, serves kids of incarcerated parents by matching caring adults to mentor kids that have one or both parents in jail or prison. Rise Up! also focuses on enrichment by teaming with other community organizations to provide opportunities for lessons in art and music. Finally, this organization seeks to build community in the lives of these children and their families in order to alleviate the impact of incarceration on the lives of these vulnerable children.
