Roblealto Child Care Association

Organization Description:

Roblealto is a non-profit organization founded in Costa Rica in 1932 by Christian missionaries. Roblealto shares the Christian vision of life with the families, working for the defense of the fundamental rights of children, and offers comprehensive care directed at the nuclear family.

Roblealto cares for children who are at-risk due to poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, abuse, behavioral problems, and substance abuse in the home. We serve families in need through three child care centers, a temporary shelter, and an adolescent program. Currently there are 700 children receiving services.

Since its inception, Roblealto has maintained a strong relationship with Latin America Mission (LAM), a Christian mission agency located in Miami, Florida, which partners with local ministries in Latin America.
