All applicants must submit a one page cover letter; this cover letter must be signed by either the organization's President, Executive Officer, or Board Chair.
A copy of the Foundation's completed checklist must also accompany the cover letter and their Grant Application.
A copy of the applicants must recent IRS Service determination must also be included in the package, as well as a list of the Board of Directors. This list must indicate the Executive Committee members (if any), as well as their terms in office and occupations.
All applicants must submit their organization's financial information, including a current operating budget. For more information, please refer to the organization's website.
All applicants are required to submit a General Information Brochure, as well as a copy of their Texas Library report.
The Foundation will not consider funding individuals.
The Foundation will not fund organizations that are not non-profit and tax exempt.
The Foundation will not fund nor underwrite for benefits, dinners, galas, or other fund raising efforts.
The Foundation will not allocate funding for mass solicitation purposes, nor will they fund parochial schools.
The Foundation will not fund organizations outside the Texas area.
The Foundation will not provide funding for government agencies.
