Safe Families For Children

Organization Description:

Safe Families for ChildrenTM is a movement of hundreds of families of faith who have opened their homes to care for children whose parents are struggling. By demonstrating Biblical Hospitality, Safe Families returns the church to the forefront of caring for orphans and widows - where historically the church was the leader.

Designed to extend and strengthen the community safety net for at-risk families, Safe Families for Children is a voluntary, non-coercive alternative to the state child welfare system. Without Safe Families, many of these children would succumb to abuse or neglect and end up in our states child welfare system.
