The Salvation Army

Organization Description:

The Salvation Army of Wellsville New York is a church that sets a table of food for the hungry, a place that warms the shivering and not just with clothing but also with the fabric of love, and provides a shelter to those who have no refuge in the night.

Through Monday to Friday at the hours of 10am to 2pm, the church runs an emergency food pantry that provides groceries and various other social assistance. The church also operates a thrift store that is open 6 days a week from 10am to 5pm.

Church services on Sunday begin with Sunday School at 10am and Morning Worship at 11am. Children's activities occur on Tuesday and Thrusday from 3pm-5pm. At children's programs, students play games, receive after school tutoring, and participate in various religious and educational activities.
