The Salvation Army of the National Capital Area works to ensure that everyone that has fallen on hard times, drug addiction, alcoholism, and other detramental lifestyles can receive a fair chance to become rehabilitated into society.

During disasters, we are among first responders in the DC area. We provide spiritual and emotional support to victims, food and energy to relief workers and those in need, and help for the homeless and impoverished.
