Our doors at The Center of Hope are open 24/7. in 2008 The Salvation Army in Tyler served over 300,831 meals to feed the hungry. the Salvation Army in Tyler is called "home" by approximately 150 people each day and one fifth of those residents are children. We offer a 90-120 day free, in-house, faith based chemical addiction program. Work program, Senior Ministries, Character-Building Programs, Disaster Services, Family Store, Social Services-food pantry for emergency grocery supplies, clothes, diapers, fans etc... Utiility & rent assisstance. We partner with other agencies in order to offer literacy, GED, budgeting, life skills and computer classes to our residents Youth Outreach Program, the list really could go on !!!

We believe that an essential element of our ministry is to be good stewards of the gifts that have been given to us to share. In Tyler, our financial analysis shows that 89 cents of each dollar given to us goes directly to help people in need. Administration, expenses and other costs are only 11 cents.
