Organization Description: 

The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Area has been assisting people in this community since 1883. Last year, we served 30,000 people in Onondaga County through 40 programs ranging from our food pantry, shelters for the homeless, licensed, quality day care for low-income families, outreach and counseling for runaway teens, housing, parenting and life skills training for young mothers, senior services and food and gifts for disadvantaged families during the holidays.
