Organization Description: 

The Samaritan Center is a long term transitional housing facility for homeless families in Indian River County, Florida. We offer a highly structured program designed to determine the root cause of a family's homelessness and then give them the tools needed to become self reliant and to get back on their feet.

Samaritan Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The administrative team holds hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday thru Friday. We are located at 3650 41st Street in Vero Beach.

Samaritan Center has been a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach since 1992. We are also a United Way agency.

Samaritan Center is a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach. We require that staff and clients abide by the Catholic teachings while on site. The program accepts clients of any religious background.
