Organizational Statement of Faith:

Jesus asked, what do you say that I am? ? Matthew 16: 15- 16

This State of Faith is the biblical doctrine on which Samaritan?s Fellowship Foundation is based. This represents the key elements of our faith that we model without apology.

1. The Word of God is the most precious thing we own. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. The Bible is God's Word to mankind. It is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. It tells us who we are and how we should live. John 3:3 says that we must be born again. When we make Jesus Lord of our lives, our sins are washed away and we become new creations. Matthew 26:28, II Corinthians 5:17, II Timothy 3:15-17, Proverbs 30:5.

2. God is one but eternally self existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed "I Am" and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association. Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Matthew 28:19; Ephesians 4:4-6.

3. Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation of lost & sinful man. For the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Titus 3:4-7; Luke 24:46-47; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Acts 4:12.

4. Jesus lived a holy life on earth, He was bodily resurrected from the dead, and He will return visibly. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His visible return in power and glory to rule. John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 & 4:15; Acts 1:11 & 2:22-24; I Corinthians 15:3-4.

5. The Holy Spirit enables us to live in the presence of God. Through the Baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, we mature and become bold witnesses for Christ. When we speak in tongues, we can praise God and pray according to His will. Acts 2:4, I Corinthians 12:10.

6. Holy Spirit is our personal guide. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. God, in the Person of the Holy Spirit, leads the sinner into an awareness of his sinfulness and brings him to repentance and trust in Christ. He brings to birth in him a new and eternal life and, by His continuing work, develops in this new life the fruits of love and holiness. Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 8:9.

7. God answers prayers in natural and supernatural ways. We believe that the power of prayers changes circumstances, situations, and people; defeats the devil; and causes God's people to overcome. James 5:16.

8. God's method of blessing is sowing and reaping. This divine principle is important in every aspect of life. Paying tithes and sowing offerings satisfies this law and causes the blessings of heaven to be poured out upon us. Malachi 3:10, II Corinthians 9:6.

9. Holy Spirit equips believers with Gifts and Fruits. The Holy Spirit gives many different gifts to equip all God's people for ministry, in order to build up the Body of Christ, and He determines what is given to each believer. A gift is to be valued in the Church according to its contribution to the common good. Fruits of spirit mark a true Christian life. Isaiah 11:2-3; Galatians 5:22-23

10. Resurrection of saved & lost and Justification by Grace through Faith alone. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment. We believe that we are justified by faith alone in the finished work of Christ, that is, by His substitutionary death upon the Cross and His resurrection from the dead. The works of men and the traditions of the visible Cross are of no avail in the Salvation and Justification of men. Revelation 20:11- 15; I Corinthians 15:51-57.

11. Matthew 28:19 is our Mission of the Great Commission. We affirm the obligation to fulfill the Commission given to the Church by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian. Matthew 28: 19; Romans 10:9-15; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:18-20; I Peter 3:15.

12. The Christian life is part of the Body of Christ. Every Christian is called to love the Lord his God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength; and to love his neighbor as himself. Therefore, all are to live godly lives, doing all things to the glory of God. The indwelling Holy Spirit makes this new life a reality as they yield themselves to Him. The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of the great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:22; Hebrews12:33.

13. Spiritual unity and fellowship of believers is vital. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Lord Jesus and that all true believers are members of His body. Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12, 27.

14. Loving our neighbors is our utmost responsibility? Good Samaritan. We believe loving our neighbors is not an opinion or a suggestion; it is a Commandment from the Lord. We believe in serving one another (the whole world, all nations) with Love, care for our neighbors, not seeking revenge or bear a grudge against anyone. God is love and we spread this message to His creature. Luke 10: 29- 37; Leviticus 19:18
