Save The Source

Organization Description:

Save The Source was birthed during my seven month stay in Vietnam in 2010 where I learned firsthand about the work various organisations were doing to stop sex trafficking. Upon returning to Australia I did more research on sex trafficking and discovered the vastness of this horrible industry. I wanted to help the young women who were trapped in this human slavery. After reading a book called, The Johns: Sex for Sale and the Men Who Buy It by Victor Malarek, I learned there is not much being done or said about the men who buy into the sex industry. It seems they have free rein and so many women are being terribly mistreated. I also learned that many men are becoming addicted to porn, thus ruining not only their personal relationships/marriage but also their own self worth.

For many months afterwards I was asking myself, "What can I do to help the women and girls who are exploited in the sex and porn industry?" Then one morning I strongly felt I was to speak to the men, the source of most of the income that is supporting the sex industry.

Upon this revelation, with the encouragement and support of my wife and friends, I started 'Save The Source', an organisation which through seminars and workshops help men overcome the problem of porn viewing or porn addiction.

Mission Statement:

We believe that every woman is made in the image of God and therefore special and should be treated with respect. We understand that millions of girls and ladies are mistreated in the sex industry as they are involved in pornography. We understand that millions of Christian men and teens around the world are looking at pornography and many of these men are addicted to porn. This includes pastors. We have been given a mandate by God to speak to these Christian men about the dangers of porn, and help them to be set free from pornography. We believe that our seminar teachings and self-help manual will inspire men and teens to be empowered and be able able to overcome the viewing of pornography.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, The Truth, and The Life and is the only way to come to God.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God.
