Organization Description:

Teamwork Ministries International is a 501c3 faith-based organization incorporated in 1989 that is addressing the challenges of extreme poverty and hunger, the lack of access to a quality education, the promotion of gender equality, reducing child mortality and increasing maternal health, combating HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases, while ensuring environmental sustainability by assisting and empowering Tanzanians through the Teamwork City of Hope in the region of Ntagatcha. With the comprehensive understanding of our Founder/Director Dr. John N. Chacha a native Tanzanian himself, our organization is well prepared to adequately advance this community to the realization of these goals. Teamwork City of Hope is contributing to the economic development of its constituents with the rural development of cooperative agribusinesses, aquaculture and the establishment of other culturally relevant small businesses through micro-financing.
Teamwork City of Hope is aiding locals in the development of a vocationally trained skilled workforce by training in masonry, carpentry, mechanics, computers, sewing and modern agricultural techniques in farming, poultry production, dairy farming, fisheries and forestation. The agribusiness is partnering with The Republic of Tanzania Ministry of Agriculture and local community leaders to create a sustained, multi-stakeholder partnership to reduce hunger and poverty. Teamwork City of Hope has partnered with other non-profit organizations to restore wells and dig new fresh-water wells in the region.

Mission Statement:

Teamwork City of Hope is a revolutionary concept, of building facilities and initiating assistance programs not only to provide living quarters, health care, clean drinking water, food and education for children, but also to help educate and train future leaders of Africa. It is an innovative way of bringing transformation to those in despair, and bringing hope to communities and to nations.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

There is one God with three distinct persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the keeping power of God.
We believe in sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life as God’s design for the Church, which is the Bride of Christ.
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as on the day of Pentecost, in the continuing activity of the Holy Spirit in charismatic gifts and ministries, and in His fruits in the believer.
We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of atonement.
We believe in Christ’s imminent return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting domain.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost - they that are saved, unto everlasting life; and they that are lost, unto eternal punishment.
