Servant Partners

Organization Description:

Servant Partners works in a variety of creative ways to see the transformative power of the gospel lived out in urban poor communities around the world. Here are a few ways in which we are acting as catalysts in our communities:
 Using relevant Evangelistic Bible Studies to bring people to faith
 Planting and developing multiplying house churches that transform lives and communities
 Providing leadership training and technical assistance to existing churches and organizations, helping them launch holistic community projects in their communities
 Engaging potential community leaders in a process of community organizing to build unity, foster a spirit of civic engagement, and encourage people to help themselves.
 Using the arts in community transformation to bring hope and healing to individuals and communities through direct arts-integrated interventions (social, spiritual, educational, and therapeutic).
 Working and training youth to become agents of change in their community
 Using community centers as a means of community learning and sharing
 Implementing community health initiatives by training community members as health promoters
 Employing business and micro-credit initiatives to build a larger economic base
 Using ESL as a tool for ministry and a way to connect community members with ongoing community transformation initiatives
 Providing ethics-based business training to potential small business entrepreneurs and attendees of computer classes
