'the shoreline' Church of San Clemente

'the shoreline' theme verse:

Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men." So they pulled their boats up on the shoreline, left everything and followed him. - Luke 5:10-11

The Purpose of 'the shoreline' church is to love God and love others. (Matthew 22:37-39)

The Mission of 'the shoreline' church is to:
Follow Jesus. Love. Listen. Obey.

Five commitments that will help us stay focused as we follow Jesus in the church, home and world:

Gather- A place to Belong and Believe. We will gather together to be a community of believers in Jesus Christ. We will invite and welcome others to give them a sense of belonging so that they might believe in Him and follow Him with us.

Grow- A place to connect on a deeper level with God and others. We will challenge each other through God's Word to grow into spiritual maturity, developing a deep friendship with God and others.

Glorify- A place to Express Praise. We will inspire each other to lifestyles of devotion to the Lord, bringing expressions of our faith through arts, skills, talents and our everyday lives.

Give- A place to share Time, Talent, and Treasure. We will be a community that gives our lives in Godly service. As God has given to us abundantly, we will share with others abundantly.

Go- A place to serve Locally and Globally. We will be a community that takes the gospel of Jesus Christ beyond our community to others, starting locally and ending globally.
