Organization Description:
The Siouxland Christian Food Pantry has been operating for over 20 years in Siouxland, and servicing the needs of Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota residents in the tri-state area.
During our struggling economy, our recipient list has grown and we are now servicing approximately 200 families per month with an average of about 800 individuals.
Our main demographic are the elderly and disabled. They are finding themselves in a position every day where they have to choose between rent, medication, or food. Sadly enough, food will be the first expense these individuals will have to cut to survive with today's economical burdens.
