Siouxland Habitat for Humanity
Siouxland Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International that is a nonprofit Christian housing ministry with affiliates in 92 countries. Its mission is "to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action". The Siouxland affiliate was formed in 1992 and serves counties in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Since 1992. Siouxland Habitat for Humanity has built 25 homes. Siouxland Habitat for Humanity partners with families in our service area to make their dream of home ownership a reality. Partner families are chosen on the basis of financial need, ability to pay the mortgage, and willingness to partner by providing sweat equity in the building of the homes built by Siouxland Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all the God intends.
Mission Principles:
1. Demonstrate the love and teachings of Jesus Christ.

affordable houses.

development.
