South Coast Gospel Mission
Homeless Shelter for men, women, and children where both spiritual and physical needs are addresses. We also strive to provide each resident with specific training to learn new skills and change behaviors. With loving hearts we hope to transform them into happy, productive citizens of this community.
The purpose of this Corp. shall be winning the lost to Christ, to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by every means possible, to rehabilitate alcoholics, drug addicts and otherwise meet the unique needs of the poor and homeless. And, to carry on any work or program as may be necessary for the spiritual, moral and physical welfare of any of those with whom it may work.
A. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, ultimate authoritative Word of God.
B. We believe there is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
C. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal return in power and glory.
D. We believe that men and women are saved through a direct, personal encounter with the risen Lord, at which time they are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. This event we hold to be an experience rather than a doctrinal supposition.
E. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whom Christ indwells each believer, enabling him to live a godly life of obedience.
F. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting, conscious punishment of the lost.
G. We believe the Holy Spirit unites all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that together they form one body, the Church.
