Sozo arts holidays and retreats
Sozo arts is a small christian arts retreat place on the beautiful Silver Coast in Portugal. We offer creative holidays, volunteer placements, retreats etc under the direction of married hosts, Kit and Samantha Jennings (UK). Set in an acre of countryside but within 3km of sandy beaches, tourist hot spots, we are ideally situated and only 1 hour north of Lisbon. As well as offering holidays here in the summer months, we are active members of our local church, we are linked to ECM and we host an International meeting here each month. We are a bi vocational couple, we work part of our time and the other part of our time we offer our support in any way we can as church outreach. For example I will lead children's dance at church, or my husband will do the sound at church, lead in a ministry or support the arts work at church etc. Out of season we require help particularly in gardening and administration.

At Sozo Arts, our vision is to provide memorable creative activity holidays with great hospitality and tuition. Activity holidays which perfectly combine creativity with leisure in a beautiful setting. Experience has convinced us that everyone can draw, paint or dance, given the opportunity and encouragement. The name Sozo Arts is derived from the Greek word meaning health and wholeness, which are key benefits of our creative activity holidays. Our holidays are ideal for lovers of nature and sea, due to our unique coastal setting. Our arts retreat is ideally situated close to cultural hotspots such as the charming historical towns of Obidos, Alcobaca, Leiria and Tomar.
'As believers we are not all called to be artists but we are all creative as we are made in his image.' Our small arts retreat place is not exclusive, as we encourage diversity. We provide a learning environment for all faiths, ages and religious backgrounds. However, we spiritually direct people towards the Christian faith and would always offer advice that is biblically sound.
