ST LAWRENCE COMMUNITY CLINIC

Organization Description:

St Lawrence Community Clinic is a community health infrastructure which was initiated by the Nazareth sisters of the Annunciation in the year 2006. Following the socio economic instability in the region the clinic was begun to provide clinical support services to over 70,000 people of the locality .Most of the people served by the clinic are below poverty level and hence the church has been the sanctuary , safe place a shelter for them. Overwhelmed by the situation our activities and services are constrained by limited funding . This has led to shortage of medical staff especially nurses. Volunteers have come in handy in helping deliver the much needed service to our impoverished community . Please note that our community clinic is community focused and serves those in dire need in our impoverished community and to meet our goal , we welcome other volunteers to contribute their time and expertise in effort of service delivery .We have a very big shortage of staff which has prompted this volunteer initiative. We do not have any terms and conditions for our volunteers, we welcome everyone who have relevant training in medical field to join our move to reach out to the needy in the community .
