STELLA MUNDI AFTER-SCHOOL ACADEMY
Stella Mundi, which means “Star of the World,” is a new, afterschool “Faith & Fun” enrichment program that opened this September with over 100 kindergarten and first-grade children in the Mott Haven neighborhood of the South Bronx.
Stella Mundi aims to teach the Good News of Jesus Christ to underserved children, so that they can lead lives of faith, good character, prayer, community and discipleship. We help children to develop their own personal faith and habits of virtue by teaching the Scriptures, traditions, rituals, doctrine, sacraments and values of the Catholic Church—all in a dynamic and fun environment.
