OUR MISSION
SOVHEN works to enable early interventions aimed at improving the quality of life and championing the rights of orphans and other vulnerable groups living in difficult circumstances in hard to reach urban slum and rural areas in Uganda.
We work closely through community dialogue with the orphans, vulnerable groups (girls and women, youth, Persons With disabilities and Elderly) surviving caregivers, family members, community leaders, community based organizations, service providers and policy makers to: ? Create an environment conducive for their survival, optimum growth, development and participation ? Deliver essential services that are of sufficient quality ? Strengthen the legal, policy and institutional frameworks for their protection ? Enhance the capacity of (1) Households (2) Communities, and (3) other implementing partners to deliver integrated, equitable and quality services
