Mission Statement:

Sword and Sickle Ministries exists to stop the cycle of recidivism and its effects in the lives of offenders, ex-offenders and their families. We accomplish this by:

-Encouraging restoration of fractured relationships with God and others.
-Teaching them to view all of life from a biblical perspective.
-Promoting healing and wholeness to the total person: body, soul and spirit.
-Providing a transitional facility to serve as a model of Christ-centered community.
-Partnering with churches and communities to see these puroses accomplished.
-Releasing them to give back to others as an act of love and service to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 1:17).

We believe that the Bible is God ƒƒ ¢€š ƒ‚ ¢€™s written revelation to man and that it is verbally inspired, authoritative, and without error in the original manuscripts. (Matthew 5:17-18; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on the cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His personal return to earth in power and glory. (Matthew 1:23; 24: 30; Mark 16:19; John 1:1; Acts 1:11; 2:22-23; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Colossians 2:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 4:15; 7:25; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 1:7)

We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, that He performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, empowering them to manifest Christ in the earth. We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operational in the church today. (Mark 16:17-18; Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 2:10-11; 6:19; 12:1, 4-12; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18; Galatians 5:16, 22-23; Titus 3:5)

We believe that those who practice sin will not inherit the Kingdom of God but will endure eternal punishment together with Satan and all his angels. (Matthew 7:21-23; 25:41; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Ephesians 5:5-6; Galatians 5:21, 24; 1 John 3:10; Revelation 20:15)

We believe that salvation, the gift of God, is provided solely by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Turning from sin in repentance, looking to Christ and His vicarious death, man is born anew into eternal life by the Holy Spirit. (Mark 1:15; Acts 2:38; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:4-7)

We believe that the church is commissioned to proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God throughout all the earth and will mature in love, unity, and power before Jesus returns (Matthew 24:14; John 17:11-23; Romans 16:20; 1 Corinthians 2:4-5; 4:20; Ephesians 3:19; 4:13-15; Colossians 1:28).
