TEEN CHALLENGE GHANA

Organization Description:

Teen Challenge Ghana is a ministry under Global Teen Challenge. For over 50 years, Global Teen Challenge has been reaching out to men and women with life controlling problems with drugs alcohol and crime. With over 1,000 centers in 82 Nations, they have a prove record of accomplishment of success around the world. They are not a funding organization, but they do have the training and resources available to help us provide a possible care in Ghana.
Ghana is seeing a devastating increase to people addicted to drugs or trapped by alcohol. Ghana has become transit point for illicit drug trafficking to Europe and the US. Ghanaian teenagers and youth are being consumed by the use of drugs.

This is a strategic opportunity for you to collaborate with us to get a Teen Challenge Center here in Ghana, West Africa. We are writing to ask you to prayerfully partner with us to provide residence for our inmates. The right drug addicts rehab center is the one that feels like home. Comfort is the first step towards getting better, which is why we ask you to help provide the best comfort home for the addicts.

Our objective is to provide broad drug education and awareness and therefore prevention drug abuse, while also helping those who are addicted through effective drug rehabilitation. As part of a coalition, the center would provide effective services in conjunction with local schools, parents, businesses, faith organizations and law enforcement .It is our objective to combine resources with other organizations to fully address drug abuse in Ghana. We hope to create a framework that challenges people to reach their fullest potential spiritually, socially, educationally as well as occupationally. We also hope to develop and nurture the transformation of rehabilitated individuals into useful, productive, law-abiding citizens; committed to Christian faith, values and living
