Touch The World

Organization Description:

We accomplish this by working with these young people in situations where these ingredients can be realized ? camp settings, mission trips, outdoor education and intimate small groups.

We surround them with well-trained, godly adult role models that will foster strong, healthy relationships (belonging), teach attainable skills (competence) and instruct and model God?s word (worth).

We encourage and direct these young people to seek God in considering career ministry as a lifelong calling and then provide fields around the world for full time service.

Mission Statement:

Mission ? To introduce young people to Jesus Christ through various effective ministries, disciple them into the local body of assembled believers and equip them to reach others with the Gospel.

Vision - is to equip young people with a sense of belonging, competence, and worth in order to bring about an internal, lasting change that will enable them to stand strong in their moral and biblical convictions.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

I. We believe that the Bible, composed of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is inspired of God by verbal, plenary inspiration, inerrant in the original autographs, and is the final authority in faith, practice and all other areas to which it speaks.

II. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

III. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood and His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His tangible return in power and glory.

IV. We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he disobeyed and thereby incurred both spiritual and physical death; consequently, all men are sinners by nature and practice and are in need of regeneration without which they are eternally lost.

V. We believe that the substitution death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ provides the grounds for justification, and personal faith in Him is the only condition for salvation.

VI. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

VII. We believe that the universal church, founded at Pentecost, consists of all true believers and that the local churches are established for the purposes of worship, instruction, mutual edification and worldwide witness.
