The Tropical Adventures Foundation

Organization Description:

What makes us different
While we know there are worthwhile volunteer projects and communities in need around the globe, Tropical Adventures operates exclusively in Central America, and specializes in matching volunteers with service opportunities in areas that are in need of real support.
We have worked hard to cultivate strong relationships with local service organizations, government agencies, host families and other national citizens, helping to ensure the smoothest volunteer experience for our program participants, and maximum impact on these communities in need.

Why Tropical Adventures?

We are local: This is our home. You can rely on our experience. You'll always be up-to-date on ground information. We know what is new, what is possible and what is overrated.

We are unique: We are able to safely provide you with unique, off-the-beaten track experiences. We work with locals and promote sustainable tourism. This helps our neighbors -- including our indigenous neighbors -- support their communities.

We will save you money: We handle all tour arrangements and are able to access better rates than you could. This means you don’t need to spend a considerable amount of time before you depart, figuring out what to do, where to stay, how to get from A to B, and then trying to make bookings and payments.

We have got your back: 24-7 support and interpretation from our experienced Tropical Adventures tour leaders who accompany your group from beginning to end.
