We began in November 2004. While not specifically a Christian organization, the founder and Board of Directors are all Christians. We began in the East Bay of San Francisco, but now also serve the Phoenix, AZ area. We do not have a "facility" but do have 2 group homes for dogs and cats in the north Phoenix area that can always use volunteer help.

Mission Statement: 

Tuffie's Animal Rescue is dedicated to ending pet euthanasia through placing dogs and cats in danger of being killed into foster homes and then into permanent adoptive homes. All animals are spayed/neutered, current on shots and micro chipped. We also work on spay/neuter programs and on educating people on how to properly care for their pets. Almost ALL of our animals were in immediate danger of being euthanized. One dogs we saved was actually in the room waiting her turn when we stepped in to save her!
