Mission Statement of United Revival Ministries
It is the desire of United Revival Ministries to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all the world, leading individuals to understand and accept Jesus gift of salvation, and encouraging Believers to love the Lord their God with all their hearts and souls and minds.
Statement of Faith:
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is both infallible and authoritative.
We believe in the expository study of the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation, word by word, line by line, and precept to precept.
We believe that God is a triune God one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We at United Revival Ministries live in anticipation of Jesus triumphant return in power and glory.
We believe the following facts affirm the deity of Jesus Christ: - Jesus was born of a Virgin,
- lived a totally sinless life,
- performed acts that have no explanation other than that they were miracles of God,
- gave His life as a blood sacrifice for the sins of all mankind as part of God the Fathers plan for salvation,
- was literally resurrected from the dead, and
- that He actually ascended to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God.
We believe the only way for lost and sinful man to have a personal relationship with God and for regeneration by the Holy Spirit to take place in mankind is that man must: - admit he has a sin nature,
- repent and turn away from his sin nature, and
- invite Jesus Christ to become his personal Lord and Savior.
We believe the Holy Spirits ministry to Christians continues today. The only way a Christian can hope to live as God commands is through the presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling his life.
United Revival Ministries believes the powers and gifts given to believers by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost are still available to believers today.
We believe both Christians and the lost will face a future resurrection. Those who are saved will face the resurrection of eternal life in Heaven, and those who are lost will face the resurrection of eternal suffering in Hell.
We at United Revival Ministries believe it is important for Christians today to uphold the same practices taught by the early church. We firmly support the practice of baptism by immersion and the regular taking of Communion. We do not believe either of these practices is required to be saved, but they do serve as a demonstration of our true faith in Christ.
