Organization Description: 

We are a volunteer run, non-profit rebuilding organization located in Central City, New Orleans.
Almost five years has passed since Hurricane Katrina and we are still here helping residents rebuild their homes.
We focus on assisting those whose homes have been destroyed by the hurricanes or blight.
We can accommodate individuals and groups of eight or more. We provide:

Volunteer project coordination
Orientation and safety training
Transportation to project site
Accommodations

Mission Statement: 

The mission of the United Saints’ Recovery Project is to help revitalize economically distressed neighborhoods of New Orleans afflicted by blight, affected by disasters, and to help those in need. Our focus is to assist the elderly, disabled, and otherwise disadvantaged in rehabilitating and rebuilding their homes, as well as engaging in community service, art, and beautification projects. We do this with the help of local, national, and international volunteers.
